READING
My Life & My City
London is my hometown. It’s a very big and crowded
city in England. My house isn’t in the city centre, so
it’s always peaceful. There aren’t any busy roads or
streets near my house. There is a green park behind LEARN STEP BY STEP
my house. I ride my bike and play with friends there.
I go to the city centre with my parents and sister at
the weekend. We like going to the cinema or
visiting museums together. The city centre is more
crowded on Saturdays and Sundays. The streets are
full of cars and people. My sister loves crowded
places because she thinks they are more enjoyable.
I don’t agree with her. I love villages. They are more
relaxing and interesting. My grandpa lives in a small
village near London. We are in the village now. I’m North
watering the flowers with my father at the moment.
My grandpa is sitting under a tree and reading a newspaper. My mother and sister are in the kitchen. They are
making a cake for us.
