FUN IN MY CITY

I live in London. It’s a big and crowded city in England.
I’m happy in my city because there are many funfairs. I
like going to different funfairs with my sister Becky at
the weekend. Ghost trains and roller coasters are my LEARN STEP BY STEP
favourite rides. I think they are thrilling. Becky disagrees
with me because she hates ghost trains and roller
coasters. She thinks they are horrible. She likes
carrousels and bumper cars. In my opinion, they are
dull. It’s Saturday today, but Becky and I are at home.
It’s raining outside, so we can’t go to a funfair. I want to
watch a cartoon with Becky, but she doesn’t like
television. I think Becky and I are very different. She
doesn’t like big cities. She likes quiet and peaceful
places. It’s her dream to live in the countryside. I have
an uncle. He lives in a village. We go there every Cliff
summer. Becky loves the life in the village. She thinks
big cities are expensive, crowded, and dangerous places. In my opinion, villages are boring because there is
nothing to do.
